The partners in STC own a school themselves – Bronte School in Gravesend.  So we know how it feels to run a school and we understand that the decision to sell a school is an emotional one.

Selling a school must always be handled with the greatest care and discretion.

We understand that, having come to the decision to sell your school, you will want to do it as quickly as possible.  But, of course, to get the right buyer and the right price is not something that will be achieved overnight.  Good results take care and time.

These are the priorities we know a school proprietor is likely to have in mind when selling their school:

• Getting a suitable buyer. Most of our clients are keen to find someone who will protect their staff and carry on the good work they have put into their business over many years. They don’t usually just want to walk away without a care. STC acts as a matchmaker to find the best buyer for the long-term interest of the school.

That is why we always ask for ‘Offers over ….’. We nearly always exceed our starting prices – and we allow the market to help us decide the appropriate level.
